It's nice to meet you, neighbor! I'm Valerie, and I'm passionate about helping people stay safe, comfortable, and independent in the homes they love.
Whether you need an extra set of hands around the house, help keeping up with seasonal chores, or someone to tackle the tasks that have become more difficult over time, I'm here to work with you to create a personalized support plan that fits your needs. My goal is simple—to make everyday life a little easier and give you and your family greater peace of mind.
For the past six years, I've been an Agriculture Teacher at local high schools, where I've built my career around serving others, solving problems, and creating meaningful relationships within my community. Teaching has taught me the value of patience, clear communication, organization, and treating every person with kindness and respect.
Outside of the classroom, I've always enjoyed working with my hands. I have experience with home maintenance, lawn and landscape care, gardening, organization, and a wide variety of household projects. I genuinely enjoy tackling the jobs that help a home stay safe, functional, and welcoming.
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me traveling, trying new recipes, fishing, spending time up north with family and friends, or exploring new places with my dog, Ruger.
